lost my engine
i just finished doing a valve adjustament on my old pos accord and it's running so damn smooth now. it took me about 2 hrs to do it but it was well worth it. i can't even feel the shifts from the tranny and the engine is a lot quieter now. if i would't have the damn leak in my flex pipe the car would be totally silent at 4k rpms. also i noticed a lot more low end power and better throttle response. goodby machine gun engine. did i say it was my first valve adjustement ? (the first one i did myslef)

heh the exhaust was easy, the intake valves were a biatch because of the manifold and the fuel rail. trere is no way around it than to use a bent feeler gauge.

for anyone whos about to do an adjustment.
if you tighten them a little tighter than stock specs you gain a little power due to more lift. |

haha, it's nice to have the right tools
sorry stefan gotta bust your balls once in a whilebut then again the right tools cost $50 for the tool and $30 in feeler guages...stupid Snap On jeremy |
