				hahahaha awesome...

Marine Corps General Reinwald was interviewed on the radio the other day.

You have to read his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love his!!!! This is one of the best comeback lines of all time. It is a portion of National Public Radio (NPR) interview between a female broadcaster and US Marine Corps General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military installation. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base? GENERAL REINWALD: We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery and shooting. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it? GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children? GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you're equipping them to become violent killers. GENERAL REINWALD: Well, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you? The radio went silent and the interview ended. You gotta love the Marines!

HaHa. So true. After Columbine, our school got really uptight about the ROTC on campus. And this reminds me of another story:

when they are taken care of by sane individuals then im all for people possessing guns, but its the road rage ****s and people who think they are god because they have a gun and will point it at you for looking at you weird that makes me not like em. my friend was almost shot in the face at point blank range(his best freind was shot 5 seconds before that

) because a freind of his defended himself in a fight and won.... so im kinda against guns

That is the key there. They (The Marine Corps) aren't teaching children how to carjack (Vice City style) or hold a gun to someone's face after an arguement. They are more the likely teaching them proper care and handling of loaded and unloaded weapons. Too many people get hurt a year because they are not educated about firearms. But I do not see a place in society for fire-arms. They are just some relics of days gone past of cowboy days or the American Revolution. But, that's America, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. -Ducky

Sounds like you'd be the Mess'kan that would bring a knife to a gun fight. I agree, guns should be used as a last resort, and far too often they are drawn at the first sign of trouble. Just the other day, like 2 minutes from my house, a woman was doing dishes in her kitchen when bullets started coming through the walls. Apparently, a couple of men across the road got in a fight in the parking lot, one pulled a gun and started firing. They said one bullet missed her torso by less then a foot. -Ducky

You'll find in places like Texas, SC or the south in general where it's abnormal NOT to have a gun, the crime rate is WAY low. |

Pay attention ass monkey. It's abnormal for a person in Texas not to have a gun. Same in SC. Same in a lot of the South. And the crime is way down. If you are from down there somewhere, this was a COMPLIMENT. Pay attention.

You gonna tell me that in Texas over 75% of the people don't have a handgun? I didn't say they went around on shooting sprees, but they do pack the heat. |
