Its cool that they have thier own site and KIA's are decent cars. We shouldn't act "g o d-like" just because we drive Hondas. However....
One guy, ironhive, claims to have killed the following: Late model Honda Accord -- no visible mods Late model Honda Civic -- muffler/air filter 2000 Grand Am GT (auto) -- no visible mods '96 Mustang (auto) -- no visible mods 2000 Mustang (auto) -- no visible mods 2001 Celica GT -- no mods, uphill!! Here's the specs on his 2000 Sephia LS. Acceleration (0-60 mph): 9.8 sec. Base Number of Cylinders: 4 Base Engine Size: 1.8 liters Base Engine Type: Inline Horsepower: 125 hp @ 6000 rpm Torque: 108 ft-lbs. @ 4500 rpm Weight: 2551 lbs Now this is of course an "un-modded" KIA. Lets ignore the Hondas for the sake of an unbiased opinion. 2000 Grand Am GT Base Number of Cylinders: 6 Base Engine Size: 3.4 liters Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 175 hp @ 5200 rpm Torque: 205 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm Weight: 3091 lbs Nope. Sorry. Next.... 1996 Mustang Base Model (no model so we'll use the cheap one) Base Number of Cylinders: 6 Base Engine Size: 3.8 liters Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 150 hp @ 4000 rpm Torque: 215 ft-lbs. @ 2750 rpm Weight: 3077 lbs. Nah. Still not happeing. Moving on.... 2000 Mustang (once again a mystery model, so it sthe cheap one again) Base Number of Cylinders: 6 Base Engine Size: 3.8 liters Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 190 hp @ 5250 rpm Torque: 220 ft-lbs. @ 2750 rpm Weight: 3069 lbs. Uhhhh NO. Still not happening. Next... 2001 Celica GT Base Engine Size: 1.8 liters Base Engine Type: Inline Horsepower: 140 hp @ 6400 rpm Torque: 125 ft-lbs. @ 4200 rpm Turning Circle: 36.3 ft. Weight: 2425 lbs. This is the only one I could see happening(sorry Toyota fans). Now that I have vented about that guy, I guess I'll read the rest of the post..... ![]()
