My tongue really was more irritating than painful. It swelled up and stayed swollen for days. I had a hard time keeping it clean and eventually a piece of food got in there then got it infected so I had to take it out. My belly didn't hurt that bad just tender for a few days. I kept getting it caught on the top part of my pants when I'd sit down or get up, even with a tiny bar so I just took it out. I've had my ears done several times and keep taking those out because they get irritating and boring. I guess I'm just a tattoo girl not a pierced girl, BUT, I'm NOT taking out my choochie ring. That's just too much fun to give up!!
