well i have DSL and what i did to share the internet connection with my brother is i bought another NIC, setup a proxy server(sambar server 5.0) on my win2kpro pc and setup the ip's manually. the only dynamic ip is the one that earthlink gives me when i dial up. The router will be the way to go.
