RWD is by far the way to go. I wouldn't say I caught the bug because I never liked FWD and I'm not too partial to AWD either. For handling, RWD only please.....although Quattro could make me change my mind, too bad it's a Veedub.

NA 4-cyl is also not the way to go, NA 6 or larger or FI.

Benefit to my car? Lower TCO....other than that, no others I can think of.
