when I had my s14(may she r.i.p.) I made plenty tries but my success rate for a qualified drift was like 20%.

and to drift in a fwd you would have to find a way to break the rear end lose without losing speed, i don't see how you can slide the back end of a fwd while retaining control and speed, plus not using the e-brake. the oversteer from the fwd would make it very difficult. as for rally racing with a fwd, that is different because you are not on a paved road.
