Well these tests are almost two years old now.
However, to give more detail, yes the Fz4 and S03 are not a fair test, however at the time and the price for both and the way Toyo had been marketing them made it a fair way to show how bad they really were.

Now on to tire pressures.

At the time of the tests, I did not have a consistant bed of tests.
However, I did heat up both sets of tires on asphalt to a street compounds optimal heat range 120 degrees F, in slaloms.

And proceeded to do real world tests on a closed asphalt course which included braking, etc.

The mention about tire pressure is interesting.
If this was an autocross test I would take data from a test and tune, with more detail analysis. And this will be coming in the next year with multiple tires.

But to go back to this test, I decided on 32 PSI because,
of the max pressure of the Toyo, when I autox the S03s I run them at 38F 24-36 rear depending.

But I had to keep the tires at a like pressure, so that is what I chose.

Notto say I never had the toyos at higher pressures. I did, I messed around with them a lot, and nothing helped.
