I use to do league dirt biking, same general concept. Except it cost a hell of a lot more to insure a dirt bike. I've done trials (125-250 class) and desert moto xr650 (thats a whoopin 275lbs motocycle and i only weight about 150). My suggestion is get a bike that fits you right, and for me I'll most likely only be riding it at night time when its relatively safer.

Bikes are easy, just remember one tip that'll save you a lot of pain. Look at where you want to go, not at what your about to hit if you dont change your course. A bike is very intuitive to your senses.

I thought about getting a bike, but its the insurance I'm worried about.
