Like JTsn2Bfst said, don't ask for her number right away.Go to the store and buy some stuff again and ask her what she has been up to and see if she's up to going out to grab a bite to eat, but don't make it so formal that it seems like you are asking her out on a date.Just be casual about it and I'm sure by the end of the time spent together with her you will know whats up.And you mentioned you might be better off not dating, well you can use this time just getting to know what she has been up to and get back in touch.good luck
