oooh, get Washer LEDs...
... no wait, nevermind.  I'd suggest maybe a wash bucket full of cleaning supplies. He could load one up for well under $50, and it'll still look like a lot. Pluse, you're always gonna need cleaning supplies. Either that, or considering the price of gas... he could buy you one tank full for your birthday.
