Peak power handling and rms max are different. 24000 watts rms max. Probably puts peak power handling at around 40-50K. Anyways, 24000 watts rms max= 3000 watts/ coil rms max. You could probably get away with running 1000 watts to each coil (wouldn't recommend it, but you could). Zapco 900Ds put out 2000 watts @ 2 ohms. 1 ohm stable means 4000 watts.

On paper, you could 8 4 ohm voice coils. Run 4 voice coils to each of 2 900Ds (which are putting out 4000 watts a piece) in parallel for 1 ohm. Boom- 1000 watts to each coil.

Once again, that's on paper. In reality, you'd be tapping out the gains on each amp, underpowering the sub, and be running at 1 ohm. 1 ohm is fine when running subs (if the amp is 1 ohm stable), but I wouldn't recommend it with your gains completely tapped. This means distortion in the sub, and a lot of strain on the amp. Bad news.
