the spoiler is supposed to be mounted using the 4 little bumps on the inside of the trunk; theyre like screw guides. Thats why they're all mounted where they are. Its stronger at those points too

...not that it really needs to be...a spoiler weights what like 5lbs tops...that is if you dont mount a leer jet wing

Why the mounting points are where they are is probably just because not everyone wants that aggressive look and the location of the points is for a "clean" look...I dont know...
