It's preparing for liftoff, please stand back. You should be alright with 215/40/16s, but I would still recommend a 205 tire. Unless you are putting 300+ horsepower to the pavement 205s will work perfectly for a del sol. Trust me, mine handles like it's on rails and I'm running 205/40/17.
