honda does have a beast motor.... the powerful V8 motor thats not put into production on their sold cars like civic, accord, prelude, minivans, and what not. Its there race motor. Think if that motor was downsized, and shoved into the new accord... the family cars would be pushing some serious horsepower... blowing the doors off SS camaros, mustangs, firebirds, .... any domestic "muscle car"... families would be getting to disneyland ALLL kinda quick-like.

Difference between the Vtec and ZEtec... well...
Honda at least put out a reliable motor, then came out w/ v-tec..
Ford, well they havent successfully on their OWN, put out a reliable motor. All the focus have recalls for catching on fire. They use mitsubishi, and mazda for their more dependable "ford" cars.

i doubt there were will be too many bolt-ons for the zetec, and hardly any fabricated types of forced induction that will work on it.
without paying a grip of money, and possibly having problems.
