I don't think so. I think what they mean is that is the power produced at the engine, not to the wheels.

Personally, I think it looks very nice, and maybe the futuristic look will grow on me more, but I loved when cars had that smooth sports car look to them. Like the older ones, supras, 300zx's. I don't really like car companies are doing with new cars. But I guess we'll all live and the look will grow on us.
