the best commercials ever, and it is about time the ricers get what they deserve edit: singing in the rain is the best one I think.

Great concepts for the Vdub german dude. Singing in the rain will be a poor exicusion for them. 51 seconds of a 60s ad dont even communicate its a car add. Most people will tune out as they dont understand, or care to think.
The totaling other cars ads are cool. |

The sad thing is that the guy in the white coveralls (or whatever they are) with the funny accent has done some really good work in movies. Now he's doing VW commercials. *sigh*
Oh...and I do love those ads.

My buddy just got one of those new GTI's... it's pretty sweet... I don't like how they look but it's quick as balls and he was still breaking it in...
I think it makes it's peak torque at like 1800 rpms.. It's pretty sweet... there's NO turbo lag. That actor rocks... I'm sure he's doing the VW commercials by choice... I'm guessing he probobly likes VW.

Peak TQ at 1800? You sure that's not the TDi? I mean...in a gasoline engine making peak TQ at 1800rpm is about as useful as making peak TQ at idle.
