Yeah, the Civics are FWD. Its totally different than a RWD, you'd have to drive both to see what you like better. RWD is more fun to play with

rwd = oversteer

Most modern cars are fwd for a reason. Understeer is safer and easier than oversteer; less drivetrain losses. There's also a reason why sports cars stayed rwd. It's better to push than pull.

if you want a car to do "fancy shit" with, get an 89-94 240SX and act like a retard doing rwd burnouts, drifting on public roads and whatever else it is that no0bs do with their "fancy shit".

dude, you're in australia, get a gti-r
awd turbo hatch, a civic doesn't even compare to it.

abart from the GTI-R is ugly.... (still a mini skyline though!!!)
Understeer is not safer in my opinion, least with oversteer you can correct it quicker. with understeer you just drift onto the otherside of the road, hit the brake it makes it worse, liftoff it drifts out even more, and put more powerdown it will lose more traction. RWD is alot more controlable imo. |

how i wish they were legal here, i had the opportunity to buy one but felt it wasn't worth the hassle. yeah it's not the nicest looking car, but man how i'd like to pull up on a bunch of people one day and throw down with that, they wouldn't know what hit them. not many people know about that car, it'd be a great sleeper, especially if you could hide the intercooler.

because it's cool. no skylines, no silvias, nothing, if it's turbo, it is harder to meet the strict smog guidelines, so factory turbos are not as lucrative of a market.
