ok i have a few questions

if i get the koni yellow adjustable shocks, i can adjust the ride height of the car right?

the next thing is which springs would be good with the yellows that would lower the car some but not have to get a camber kit


im asking this so when the winter comes around im not stuck with a car that plows the snow off the street.

i want a suspension that i can have my car sit a little lower in the summer and then back up to around the stock height for the winter

which setup would u guys recomend for me

2. not worth lowering if you're not gonna get a camber kit, even a 1" lowering should use a camber kit.
3. a coil over set will allow you to change the ride height whenever you want.

now if i were to stick with the koni yellows and get a camber kit....would the H&R race springs be a good choice

who has em....how much does it drop the car?

do a search for coil* over* on ebay. The cheap ones do the job, but the higher priced ones are more worth it if you're gonna have the car for a long time.

koni and h & r springs are a good combo...i think pdig has 'em...

You don't need a camber kit for a 1" lower at ALL...

you only need one (depending on your specific susp. set up now) when you go under 2".

The camber kit just depends on your setup and car. Get the car lowered, get an alignment, and you'll see if you need the kit or not.

H&R are some badass sh1t! You'll like it! As mentioned, struts/shocks does not lower your ride. It's a damper. The Koni yellows are adjustable on firmness NOT ride height. Spring height will lower your ride. If you decide not to get an H&R, get a Ground Control which uses Eibach spring. Nice ride, not too bouncy...

wrong: Koni yellows have adjustable lower spring perches. they allow lowering of the vehicle 2.5 cm for the front and 2.0 cm for the rear. :yes: but if you want more adjustability for cheaper you should look into a set of ground control coilovers. i have them for 340 shipped for the koni shocks. let me know

You have to completely uninstall and reinstall the spring/strut to use a different perch though, right?

Nope, I don't believe so.

I suggest GC coil overs over any except for true coil over systems like Tanabe, TEIN, Apex'i etc. And no, you won't need a camber kit unless you're hitting about 2 inches lower as stated before.

No, you don't. If you want to waste money, take it from him. If this has happened to you, I believe you didn't get a front end alignment when you lowered your vehicle. I have my car lowered about 2 and 1/2 inches and it doesn't camber in that bad.

No you do not. Just go to an alignment shop and have an alignment done. You only need a camber kit if they can't adjust it back to factory specs.
