Help Me
I have a Civic with a B16A. I just put a Turbo on it but I have a problem.
When the V-Tec starts the boost fall down. And the car starts to detonate and the air/fuel mixture becomes poor. What can I do? |

you need to be way more specific than that. it sounds like you installed the manifold, turbo, necessary intake/exhaust components, and maybe a boost gauge.
if this is the case, you need something to increase the fuel pressure, because it seems like your car is trying to use a turbo with the stock n/a fuel pressure. :o |

What is your VTEC set-point? You are experiencing what is called VTEC/boost overlap. Tell us more. Need to know your set-up and turbo size. For safety, adjust your VTEC engagement high for now, or not boost at all.

I have a Turbo Kit that includes Intercooler, BOV, and a set of fuel injectors that are controled by a little computer. The V-Tec is set to 4500RPM and the Boost is 9psi but when the V-tec starts the boost falls down to 5-2psi and sometimes to 0psi

Dude.... you have to raise that VTEC!!!!!! That is way too low. You dont want VTEC that low when boosted anyway. Set that baby up about 5800 RPM. You are experiencing the overlap. What turbo kit is this? What size Turbo?
