me vs. modded v6 mustang

well, i was coming home from the movies a few nights ago and my friend pulled up next to me and just messing rev'd his engine. we never raced, he's got a 2000 v6 mustang CAI, headers, GT exaust, 4.10 rear end, and a chip i think. oh and 9.5 inch wide rear rims with fat tires on them... sorry dunno size. anyways, the car next to him looked over and was like SLOW HONDA american cars have real power blah blah blah. i couldnt do hard launches then (Axles... but they are fixed now ) and since he was RWD i almost knew he was gonna take me from the start. anyways, light turned green and i managed to kinda hold with him through first (3k launch), i ripped into second right at his drivers door (i made up land as soon as i started to move) with a screech that you could hear from far away, then i was gone, gave a healthy chirp into 3rd and that was all she wrote, i was putting car lengths up too fast for him to know what was going on. needless to say, that guy next to him didnt pull upto the next light.
