Turbo Charging B16a2
Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the type of turbo to use? Also whether or not there is a complete kit out there in tuner land that will go with this engine? Looking for install easibility.

There are many kits for that man. My favorite is the REVHARD. To name a few:
-REVHARD (T3T04 turbo) www.revhard.com -DRAG Generation (T3T04 turbo) www.dragturbokits.com -GReddy (TD05h-18g turbo) www.greddy.com -FMAX (I cant remember...... I think it's a T3T04 as well) http://www.turbo-kits.com/honda_turbo_kits.html -MAXrev (T3T04 or your trim choice) www.maxrev.com The install is easy on any of these kits. Trust me, dont pay anybody to get it done. Save your money for other modification. If you want to retain your A/C, you must make sure you pick the right kit. I think the Drag kits will require removal of your A/C, unless they updated their kits. The GReddy kit and FMAX are both street legal, if you care to know. You can check out their websites to get more info. Peace! |

Stock internals B-series:
safe= 8 psi semi-tuned= 10 psi anything over 10 psi is suicide, in my book. |

NEWS FLASH!
Check out this new kit from Spark Racing. The dyno numbers are higher than REVHARD. It pushed a stock B18C1 over 300 hp with only an FMU and a set of 440cc injectors at 8 psi boost! http://www.automotivetech.org/forum/...threadid=36493 BTW, Matt3t4 sells that kit. He's my boy. If you are interested with that kit, just ask him. Let him know that you found out from me. |

Its going good so far. The turbo and exhaust are ordered. With fridays paychecks from my 2 jobs, I will buy the blow-off valve (greddy type s) and some guages. I guess I should also pay my car payment to.

I hear you pdiggitydogg
MaxRev, you should elaborate on your T3/T04 options. That is one the biggest advantage that your company offers. Noone else does that I think..... |

Bad ass aint it? The dyno numbers are there man. Very suprising even with just a dinky ass FMU for fuel management. Imagine the possibilities with a tunable stand alone............ |

Yep, it sure looks like a Vortech FMU. Probably a 10:1 at least. No hack at all

its making 300hp to the wheels with 8psi?!!? that sounds a little far fetched.
