Topped out...

A guy said he topped out at 145 in his lude...Is it possible...what is the top u can top out on in a 97 sh...

160 is the top speed of a SH lude. Otakuguy got his to 135 before shutting down. he got afriad something may burn up.

i got my 95 up to 140, no problems.

I wouldn't worry about topping out too much...it's incredibly hard on the car. like SF said, I got scared something would blow up when I got to 135.(I just wanted to test my car)
Pretty much, a stock car can go as fast as the spedometer says, give or take 5 or 10 mph depending on the condition of the car and whether or not it has a governor attached.
modded is a whole nother story...I wonder how you get accurate readings...do you swap out gauges for something with a larger max speed?
