Speaker Brands
What are some good brands for front speakers and how low/high should they be able to play? I'm pretty new on the audio scene, so any help would be great. I've got around $200-$300 to spend but i want quality stuff.
Thanks |

I like Boston Acoustics. I think they have a rally series that would fit in your price range. You should do some listening to the speakers, bring your favorite cd into the store and ask the salesperson if you can listen to your cd. If your running just deck power make sure that there are no amps turned on, otherwise you won't get a fair comparrison. Good Luck.

alpine all the way.
i sell all types of speakers and alpine is one of the best. (type r's are in that price range - 400 canadian for the component set) this is compared to pioneer (the ts kevlar series) which is similar but have more bass, jl and rockford (which don't impress me that much for the price) |

those sound like crap.........check into peerless....they sell each speaker by the each..... http://www.madisound.com/
or look into infinity......there a bit expensive but you cant beat um......but a component set is what you want and look into an EQ and maybe a small 4 channel amp |
