Time to upgrade
Well, 307whp got old quick. My third gear is toast. Since I'm gonna have down time anyway to get my tranny fixed, I'm gonna go ahead upgrade my pistons and rods. I'm not gonna announce the specs yet, since I may go ahead get the block bored and sleeved if my pocket and credit card can support... he he.
This project is starting to take a toll on me cuz I change my mind on a daily basis. Not to mention that my civic is also acting up. I blew the head gasket and I'm overheating like crazy. I also get detonation when I get on it hard. ...then today, the master cylinder or brake booster on my Teg started acting up. The brake pedal got stuck on the bottom after braking hard. I'm not losing fluid or antying. I noticed this problem before but I ignored it thinking that it would go away. I'll post pics whenever I start the upgrades. peace! |

sounds like the teg's diapragm in the booster may be screwed up. If you want a free new integra grommet when you play w/ it I'll mail it out. It was supposed to go on my itr booster upgrade...but didnt...so it sits on a bookshelf along w/ other parts that never made it on....
...And damn.......more upgrades. This thing better make at least 400whp by the time youre finished with it. |

I'll let you know pdigg. I would appreciate that. I also notice that 96 up booster and master cylinder is different. Do you think that if I get the assembly from a 92-95 civic, would it work. I know that the reservoir and cylinder is mounted diferrent, and I know that i can rig something for the fittings to work....... what do you think?

thats a good question.
I know that the rod seal (what I really meant by diaphragm...whoops) is the same part for all 92-00 civics and 94-01 integras...and its under $3 Part 4 or 23 Are the brakes locking up when the pedal sticks? Thats really what Im basing all my guesses on...if theyre not then I have no ideas other than a booster thats on its last legs (oh and the grommet I have is part 5 on the pic) |

It's really weird man. I drove my Teg last night and it didnt show any problems except that, if I slightly press on the pedal, it would go all the way down without applying brakes. It's really ticking me off that I cant figure it out. Once I get my civic back on the road, I will take the booster apart apart.... Thanks bro'

I pulled off a booster and master from a 95 EX. The master is not mounted the same so I'm gonna swap the whole thing. I will have to reconfigure the lines a bit, but it should work. Thanks brotha'....
