How long ?
i'm not happy at all with the drop of the prokits ( yup the car still looks like an SUV) and i was thinking about a 2-2.5 drop, but i don't want to change the shocks once again. i know KYB says that the AGX's can take a 1.6" drop, but i know guys that dropped 2+ " with neuspeed springs on the same shocks and they work fine. will i have a problem with the shocks. i don't plan on keeping the car longer than 2 years, so if they blow after 2 years i don't care. are the agx's gonna last that long with a 2" drop ?

Thats really hard to tell. It maybe fine, it may last a week. Road conditions and suck have a lot to do with it too. Rougher roads tend to be hell some shocks that are aleady pushed to far.:o

Its really too hard to say, but I wouldn't risk it. It would be too much of a hassle if they keep blowing. Why not invest in better struts and sell them off when you ditch the Accord?

Exactly.. My friend bought some cheap Tokico blues and had coilovers on his Eclipse.. He ended up spending more $$$ replacing shocks then he would have if he would have just spent the money upfront and got the good stuff.

Well if you don't have any choice, then just go for it and hope they last.

Contact these guys for Konis. They have good service and great prices. All my friends bought our shocks from them. http://www.shox.com/ The are just shorter all the way around. Which is what you want for more drop. Plus they are rebuildable.

it's cool if the body is shorter which means more travel before hitting the bump stops. i'll give them a shot. maybe it's not gonna happen till the spring when my car will get some major body work done.
