Long Term Car Storage
What's up everybody?
Got a quicky. I live in Ohio and I recently found out that my new job will take me all over the country for nine months. No chance to drive my car. I have to store it for the entire 9 months. Aagghh!!! I am going to clean it, wax it, run it dry with fuel stabilizer, put some moth balls inside, cover the intake and exhaust, put it up on blocks, take the battery out, cover it and let it sit in my friend's barn for all this time. Has anybody here done it for that long? I dread it, but have no choice. Don't want to sell my baby, though. Any other tips or ideas? Please help!! Thomas |

sounds like you've got it all covered. i'd worry about mice, but the moth balls may keep them away.

Are you gonna store it in your own garage or rent one? Otherwise I agree with blind
