Music
Not sure if there was a thread on this before but screw it :P
What do you listen to for music? My music depends on my mood, or what I'm doing.. Like for instance if I'm cruising about the beach I'm almost always listening to rap or techno.. If I'm just out for a drive because I'm trying to get my mind off things I listen to trance.. helps me zone out.. and when I'm at home I listen to just about everything, maybe the only thing I don't listen to is country (yes I listen to classical) |

I've been in a weird music mood lately. A little bit of hardcore like Thrice and Rise Against...a little alt-country like Cracker and Neutral Milk Hotel...a bit of goofy punk like The Vandals and Propaghandi...some older 90's stuff like Hum and The Poster Children...some emo (not shit emo a'la Simple plan) like Onelinedrawing and New End Original...a bit of general weirdness like Look What I Did and Your Enemies Friends...and even a little classical, mostly Verdi's Requiem and Bach's Air On The G String.
And yeah...we've had these threads before, but as long as we space 'em out I like 'em.

I recently tossed all the rap i had on my computer..my playlist consists of bands such as Copeland, Gratitude, glassjaw, poison the well, keepsake, refused, saosin, blood brothers. so basically i have mostly hardcore to screamo to emo and then I have lots of work from DJ Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, and Armin Van Burren |

Oh man...everytime I see that shitbomb commercial of theirs on TV I feel like commiting 2nd degree manslaughter or perhaps aggravated assault (if any). It's like a combination of mid-90s video production together with pure unadulterated suck. But that's the commercial...maybe the album is better. Derek...you need to check out a band called Look What I Did. I love their stuff...and by default, everything I love is awesome. Oh...for dl'ing...I usually use KazaaLite for the random song but I've been using BT more and more for full albums.

TO THE PEOPLE THAT USE LIMEWIRE: does your limewire just up and close on you, because that is what mine is doing, it does it everyonce in a while, any thoughts?
just added: Finch Thrice Blink 182 Public Disturbance (local band, the lead singers dad called the police, and that was what the crime was)

No one likes the same music I do...either you all have bad taste..or I do.
I listen to slow jams, yah yah, the lovey dovey bobby valentino / mariah carey / brian mcknight stuff. I also always have DJ Tiesto or DJ Encore around me too... As for programs, I use limewire but believe me, you do not want my opinion on anything computer related. Someone on this forum can vouch for that comment.
