another one bites the dust...
Police Suspect Crashed Car Was Drag Racing
A drag race ended in tragedy Sunday in metro Atlanta. Police suspect 29-year-old Sherwin Marino died after losing control of his car during a race. His Mazda RX-7 went down an embankment and crashed into a trailer parked behind an area business. Authorities found tire tracks along Ponce DeLeon Circle and Button Gwinnett Drive, where the race is believed to have taken place. Marino was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment, but did not survive. The identity of the other driver is unknown. yea this said that it went down an "embankment".. no it flew over it, and went so hight the car almost landed on top of the simi.. crazyness.. but the more that get killed will hopefully clew somebody off that we need to hold public drag races.. this is the second person to die this week around here from it... |

It's actually a man this time. He's 29 years of age so it's not a kid, technically speaking.

People will never learn. Its sad that he had to die, but I'm relieved that no innocent bystanders were killed or injured.

That's really sad, its tragic how many people actually do die from street racing... a quick jaunt up to 80 or 100 or whatever normally doesn't do it though, most of the time when people die from racing they are trying to turn too fast or go very fast for a prolonged period of time... just another point to prove that a little fun on the street can be OK with caution, but can turn deadly if your adrenaline gets ahold of your head...

lemme guess... he saw 2 fast 2 furious and thought it was cool when they raced around those turns
ps- im not blaming the media or the movie for anything, it was still his fault for being stupid enough to try something like that, no matter where he got the idea
