does anyone know who is selling laptop hardrives ? i need one that's about 80gigs cause mine is half full and i expect in 2 months to get 75% full.
also are the laptop DVD/CD-RW drives universal so i can get a floppy drive from whatever store and switch it when i need to save on a floppy ?

Heh, figured that.. Thats pretty crappy. Thats the main reason I like sticking with desktops. They are cake to upgrade. Laptops are nice if you dont use it for much but small things. What do you use the laptop for? You have the desktop and laptop network together dont you.

Couldnt you just use the desktop to store files on, since its cheaper to get a HDD for the desktop then the laptop? Just throwing things out.

CompUSA carries them. Pretty good prices too.
The CD drives are not universal. The best option is to go external.

Or maybe external both.. That way you can take the harddrive and put it on what ever you want.
