about those wheels...
not too long ago i was posting asking your guys' opnions on wheels, and i ended up pursuing the rota grids. i fell in love with those wheels. i went to order em, and the manufacturer says they're TWO MONTHS out of stock! wtf...
any other suggestions? any OTHER wheels that are similar to those (except the montegis)? |

unfotunately, without doing a lot of research, i don't know the specifics of the set up i got... i got them on clearance from an acura dealership that wasn't able to sell them...
and as far as the kazera wheels... is that a pretty reputable brand? they look good.... |

I dont really know much about them. I had never heard of them until I saw them on Tire Rack.
However.. They do have a 1 year Finish warranty and Tire Rack is a good company to deal with (from my experiences anyway). I did find a couple reviews on them. http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=399442 http://www.rx8club.com/printthread.php?t=31161

well if you are looking for a particular rota wheel to be honest if you did a search on Egay you could probably find a set at a good price w/ shipping...I know the last time I looked there were quite a few big time sellers that had alot of the styles up for grabs..
Hope this may help or just wait it out man...Also the enkei EVO5 is a nice wheel and haven't heard anything negative on it that I can recall... Good luck in your decision/choice... |

Actually, I've never heard of Rota wheels going bad except those that were driver initiated fault. If you do an in depth research, you'll find Rota wheels to be actually decent in quality and lighter than some of the no-name brands out there. The Slips for instance are only a few lbs heavier than the real Spoon wheels. What caused this whole "i cant stand rota wheels" is cuz it got played out due to it's affordable price. |

no, i definitely agree... rotas a good wheel. i meant that as far as selection, maybe due to popularity, is limited. i know the grids (especially in 17"s) are what all the subby guys throw on their wrxs. i checked out ebay, but nothing very promising....
thanks to all of those that offered up their advice all the same. |
