opinions people opinions!!!
--Ok here we go guys and girls--
I have a black civic (2000). I have 17" wheels (those ones that I put up a little bit ago) I have coilover suspention I have blue headlights (those are the new aerodynamic, hp adding kind too ) If you were me what would be the next mod. I dont have endless pockets like some of you but I just want a response on what would be something that would make me stand out better. I dont know what would be a next step to make it look simple and clean (thats the look I am going for) but suggestions would help Also dont forget I am a poor college student so think REASONABLE!!! (couple hundered) Anyways thanks for the suggestions ahead of time and keep it real Peace out |

For only a couple hundred, I'd get an AEM intake for sure.

get a K&N drop in filter for $40
and then save up for a nice exhaust system or some shocks. |

I agree wid 94_AcCoRd_EX get a AEM CAI(cold air intake) or Injen Race Division CAI. How bouncy is ur car? Are ur shocks giving away? If they are u should spend ur couple hundred on that, but if its not go get ur self a AEM CAI and install it yourself. Its very easy to do and then go pasted 5500 and ull hear ur VTEC kick in.. Damn thats an awesome sound gotta love it!!!! |

the AEM CAI would be a good purchase...Maybe some adjustable shocks..
If you want the basic mods Intake/header/exhaust and then go from there to get liek Plugs and wires to help the spark for HP.... Hope this might help you a little... |

Make your own CAI (AEM Style) for $65, buy a good used header for $150, an Si catback for $100.. you're set. With the above mentioned I ran a 16.134 with a slipping clutch (easy 15's with a clutch that grabbed), and you spend lots less $$ than people who go out there and buy the big names for the same resutls as you

What stuff?? If you're talking about the bolt-ons, head over to www.thepartstrader.com, look up engine/drivetrain for Honda's and look for deals there on headers, exahusts, intakes, pretty much whatever your heart desires. The intake I made myself from some 2.25" stainless steel piping I bought from J.C. Whittney for like $19. A couple hours of measureing, cutting, some Home Depot rubber couplers, can of engine paint and a $25 filter and I have my own AEM CAI |
