relay for remotes

i used a 30 amp relay for the remotes for my amps so that i can also run neons and wire my cigarette lighter from the same relay so that everything turns off with my radio. right now, all i have hooked up to the relay is my two amps. will that much power in the remote wire mess up my amps. it works fine, but i blew up my 4-channel the other day, and i was wondering if that might have had something to do with it

one problem is your remote wire is probably 18 guage or smaller.
thats too much to be running on a wire that small. get a 14 or 16 guage.

i'd almost say its worth putting a switch in.
i haven't seen the install but it seems a bit ghetto to me.

i must agree. a switch would be a much better decision. less of a chance to mess up the amps.
