alarm questions.........
my alarm has a few problems.....
1.) the lights dont flash anymore when i arm/disarm it. this happened over the summer, but i never found out why, its still locks fine when i hit the button and all 2.) the alarm has an autoarm 30 second feature after the doors and trunk are close. well if the passengers door is open, it will arm i hope you guys can help me out, im lost......

ok, the first thing it could just be a loose connection where they tapped into your parking light circuit, if it's a civic it's in the driver side kick panel. it's a small red wire with a black stripe. Check that or it could be a setting on your remote.
Now the door thing, if it's a civic try this. Turn off the dome light so it never comes on, and try it again. I doubt they diode isolated each door circuit. If you dont' use your dome light that could be an easy fix. Let me know how it goes. |

ive got a prelude, i'll still check the dome light tho, but the trunk dosnt activate the dome light, unless.... the trunk dome light

if you open the trunk will it go off? u said it will arm when the passenger door is open. they probably didn't diode isolate each circuit

well, the passenger light comes on when i open the door, and it i open the trunk it will go off

yea it wasn't diode isolated and probably feedback or somethin
