Welcome to HS

I'd do a search to find out opinions on swap vs. turbo, etc.

Hi welcome to hondastyle!

I would most definately go with the b18c1. You'll have more horsepower and torque to play around with rather than turbo'ing the d16. You'd need to run atleast 7-8 psi to reach the HP potential of the b18c1, and whether you choose to go all motor or turbo on the b18c1, you'll have a much better platform.

Welcome... and go turbo. Sure you could be just like everyone else and swap in the almighty b-series. But wouldn't it be just more fun to smoke all those people who still like to believe their b-blocks are untouchable. Do some searching on the internet on SOHC engines. There's some really impressive ones out there.
