Exclamation Need Help!!!!

sUP everyone.
My friend and i were installing rear macpherson struts on my car yesterday, the car is a 95 honda accord v6 (if you already did not know). If you are familiar with the stock struts, they had a yellow, i am guess ing it is a bump stop. On the new struts, there was nothing of that nature and the instructions said to not use the stock bumpstops. Well, we ended up installing the new struts without the stops and i thougth that everything was fine. I end up going down the road and it sounds like the struts were comming throught the housing. Come to find out there is a big gap between the strut and the upper bolt + washer. We tightened it up as far as it could be tightend and it seemed to be alright, for a little while. I got home and the left strut was almost fully extended throught the housing, the right one was getting very close to doing the same thing.

My quesiton is, does it sound like i need the stock bumpstops installed? PLease let me know, thanks

Greg
