vss =wrong
ok my speed-o-meter quit working. i figured the damn vss was bad. after all its common. so i replace this 89 dollar piece of shit. which i figured was the problem becuase the sensor was BAD. problem fixed, no.
today im driving home from school and bam, the speed-o-meter isnt working AGIAN. what the hell is it? whats wrong? the guage do have those ricey ass indy glo set ups. do you think that is fucking it up. i disconnected it and shit.

most likely. When VSS goes bad, it normally shows a sign of either not registering properly or erratic fluctuation. Plus, a CEL will pop since VSS is an input signal the ECU. Most likely, your problem is on the output side. That is anything from the ECU output wire, all the way to the cluster needle.
