H22 is possible but man, you gotta have the cash to do it..the engine mounts are not the same... I would recommend just getting a type R or a GSR engine. jdm or usdm will do.. i guess another choice is the del sol b16a3 motor.. here's your link: http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/6gtech.html

yeah hes right... H22 can big a pretty big job.. But if hes for it then do it.. the B18C5 is always a great choive or even a B18C1. Is he going to stay all motor?

If you decide to do the swap, take lots of pics and get some good instructions for me..

if he's gonna keep the car streetable i wouldn't suggest the h22. after all the work and making it fit you lose a couple of things,
a)A/C

b)power steering, unless you are creative and can manage to pipe it in there
and mostly

c)street drivability the size of the engine is too big for the car, cornering sucks with the engine. i know from experience. i thought the h22 was the best setup. i was seriously dissapointed.

dont get me wrong, it had plenty of power. but in the rain it sucked. turning was a bi*ch (no power steering). and overall the car was not fun to drive anymore i suggest the b18 or even go b16 and do some internal mods to the engine.

H22 in a Civic= bad handling... Strickly for drag use only...
any B series= Good all round car...

Best motors...
B18C/B16B (R spec)
B20VTEC(CRVTEC)
B18BVTEC(LSVTEC)
B18C1 (GS-R)
B16 (average swap, mild power)
B18B(non-vtec)
ZC(y bother)

all motors can be F/I... But i ask one question, Y?
I wouldnt bother F/I a Type R...

A/C is a luxury, and i took mine off my 92 SI with the B18C5 swap, wrong move u might say... Suffered all summer long...

Powersteering, i took that off to... I actually LOVED it... Parking wasnt that bad for me, i parked less then 30seconds... But to alot of ppl, my car was the worse car to drive... I drove it like it was just a little toy...

Anything is possible with money... So ur friend can build a H22 in his Civic and everyone would be up in his shit... If he likes attention, tell him to go for it... Handling would really decrease...
