Motegi's for 90 Accord
I was at sears(yea...sears...I coldn't believe it either.) and I noticed that they had 16" Motegi sets in their automotive department for like...400 bucks! I've liked the way Motegi's looked for a long time...but I wanna know if they're a good brand of rim...
I was thinking of getting either MR-7's or RT-5's in white...to match my body color... Also, what things should I consider? I know that the forging method and offset are important...but I know I'm missing something. If needed, I can put a pic of my car up on here...but the body's a little beat up right now. Also, while I'm on the subject of tires...would Low-Pros be a good investment? Or are there too many disadvantages for them to be worth it? Thanks for your help ^^ |

Motegi makes decent rims for the money. I prefer the MR-7s personally.
Well, you know about offset, wheels will most likely be 1 piece in your price range. Low profile tires aren't an option. You need to plus-size the tire so that the overall diameter of the new wheel/tire combo is the same as stock. That means that maybe your 195/65-15 (or whatever) will be replaced with a 214/45-17 for example. There are a few options here, but not too many.

get the MR-7s. i know what your car looks likes.
depends on what low pros your looking at to. and how much rubber on the tire. remember more tire more traction!

Eh, nothing much. If they are too low profile, you can bend wheels. Your ride won't be as comfy as stock tires either... Pros outweigh the cons by far though.
