Not a good "start" today
So I wake up at... let's say around 11am. Went and took a shower and what not and was getting ready to go to class, but before I leave I always start my car, so I go out and the ****** won't turn over! :o
The battery is fine I tried jumping it for the hell of it... no luck (I'm not sure why I tried that I mean I was getting perfect power just no start) I could hear everything working fuel etc but it won't start... I'm thinking starter... so now my car sits in my yard... o well tell me what you all think |

Tell me about it man, speaking of never wanting to live in the cold, I forgot to mention I was in Florida from Jan 1 to the 12th god it was great 85 degrees everyday, no rain just sun....
I got my car to turnover finally I wonder what went wrong maybe because it was cold and sat for about a day? I'm not sure but it runs now b

Did you check to see if it sparks? remove the coil and spark plug out and point it towards something metal and have someone try to turn the car over to see if there is sparks. I recently had to change out an ignitor and coil in the freezing weather. I also changed outhe main relay harness thinking it was the problem but it was really teh distributor. Also cehck to see if there is pressure coming out of the fuel filter.

Man f*ck that shit...we got a ft of snow here the other day (drifted to over 3' in places). All my doors were frozen shut today, along w/ all the locks...I couldnt even climb in through the trunk; I was out there w/ a hair dryer and was 15mins late for class.
So my day started bad too...just not the same. As for the issue: What is your battery's Cold Cranking Amp rating? (I know its too damn cold for my "summer battery" (cheap ass pos) so I use an optima red top now |
