bah why do people have to buy video games? i get the playstation wall all nice and looking good, ten someone comes along and messes it all up grrrr.... After working in a video game store for a while you start to develop a distaste for games, kinda the opposite effect you'd think it'd have eh?

Oh I feel your pain. I worked briefly at an Electronics Boutique, and that was very frustrating. I liked the free game tryout though...

anyway, hmm...online ps2? I figured online hardware was proprietary for the ps2. Nice that they allow third party stuff. 40 bucks a month to use that service, though?! No thanks, I'll pay 15 bucks for another controller and get some friends...

Lol, I didn't know you could do this with the PS2 yet either. I'll have to give it a try sometime soon.

I was holding the linksys part in my hand going should I buy it now, or wait till the PS2 one comes out [which is 8/28]. I think Im going to wait a month. Im affraid some games wonk work right with the Linksys converter later down the road. Sometimes compatibility is a b!tch.

hoestly i read a huge write up on xbox vx ps2 vs game cude and their online capabilitys, and everything you pay extra for on ps2 is standard on xbox, xbox you get a free year when you buy the software, do i even need to say Halo2?! the ps2 modem is separate, where the xbox has a 100mb ethernet card on it. xbox has a voice thingy for you to talk to opponents/teammates ps2 dosnt yet(possible development) hoestly i think sony screwed up. they released ps2 as fast as they could to boost sales, they got gt3 and gta3 but there dvd player sucks and ther graphics suck. i hope all the TBA thingys i saw on the write up get developed because if not, and they charge 40 a month for it, you might as well save the money and buy some astroglide

I agree.. I bought my PS2 shortly after it first came out. Xbox was no where in sight at the time. The Xbox has the cool features and all, luckily for them. Cause if they didnt I think PS2 would be kicking its a$$ for sure. But now Im kinda wishing I had an Xbox. I just dont want to go waste my money on one of those too. Then have to buy all new games for it. Maybe when its down to about 99$ and the games are 19.99 a piece for them Ill think about it. But for now I will just have to suffer, and hope.
