Having fun is what its about. I like golf, but I don't get to play very often. Its a good sport. Play it before you invest the $$$ into the equipment. Another note.... Balata balls are for the REAL good players. Get the Surlyn balls and save your money(these are two different types of ball coverings). Besides if yo ustart like I did they'll all get lost anyhow..

It's basically like when you hang out with your friends not doing anything..
Well when you play golf, you just do not very much..

Sword fighting with the clubs is always fun. Watch out so a ball don't bounce off your head. Those things really hurt.

Yeah, I golf. Well, I haven't been for awhile now, but I was shooting about 38-39 on a local 9 hole course when I stopped.

Not bad for a first timer! I can't drive the ball either. I have to make up for it with my short game.

I did better driving with a 7 iron then I did with the driver.. I was using an old set of clubs and the driver had a small head on it.. I got a new set now.. Hopefully the bigger sweet spot will help me out a little.. Itll probably just give me more slice.. *L*

I think it was $100-$120. If you goto Dick's Sporting Goods you can get refurbished clubs.

Have you seen the Golf shop behind computer zoo.. Called 2nd shot (I think, or something like that..) They have a ton of used stuff there and the prices looked resonable..

Its only snow.. we can invent Ice golfing, I dont know, but it sounds cool.. You have to play with colored balls tho, cause you probably lose the white ones in the white snow..... But you couldnt use yellow ones either cause you lose them in the yellow snow..

Actually my friend and I went to Rolandia(yeah, crappy course) and played when it was about 30 degrees out. Talk about desperate..... The colored ball idea only works in snowfalls less than 4". After that they're gone.
