Custom Interior
Hey guys, I know little to nothing abt interiors, so I thought Id post the question up here seeing as how my internet search led me nowhere... about how expensive is it to custom an interior fully? Im talking keeping the seats and having them reupholestered in 2-tone leather, as well as floor mats, arm rests, etc... I could save a buttload of money if I went with something like a wrx instead of an s4, but the interior is so damn hideous id need to get it customed immediately... any clues anyone?

There's a shop in town that will do the seats in Katskin leather for under $1,000. I don't know about the rest.

for quality leather (not katskinz crap) and a custom stiching full interior looking like stock.. i'd say anywhere from 1500-2500 depending on the quality of leather/color/embrodery/etc you get. if you get bottom of the line no breathe leather... yes you can pull off 1000-1200, but as far as im concerned, i'd fork out the extra cash for something i sit on daily.

It's done in some type of material... not leather. I decided against leather b/c I wear skirts & stuff in the summer, and it would heat up & burn the backs of my legs. It's red & black to match my car, & it's been done for bout a yr. now & is holding up quite well. Looks like new. I'm very happy w/it. |

my friend's dad owns a uphostery sho(mostly does boats and jets) but he did his car in this real high quality vinal... i swear it felt like the leather on my moms lexus. im not sure about how long it lasts compaired to a quality leather, but there are nice vinals besides the plastic crap.
