I'll have to remember to check it out from home, because I can't get to myspace from work anymore.

i took the songs off... they were... terrible recording quality. we redid a few last night imma get on my recording computer here today sometime and might have some little clips up later tonight. i wana get into the damn studio but its not cheap and the day/nights that we have to do it, we end up playing out somewhere and/or writing new stuff.

Not too bad, man. I mean, the sound quality could certainly use work but that's what a studio is for. Can't expect live stuff to come out sounding great, even if it's recorded right off the sound board.

It does sound a bit busy to me. Maybe one less wah pedal in there (I only listened to the one song and the live video clip). Seems a little like some of Claypool's newer after-Primus stuff without Claypool's bass (because, seriously, no one can play bass like Les Claypool...except for maybe Victor Wooten). A bit of Oysterhead revisited, maybe? I dunno...first impressions of music rarely stick with me.

yeah it was recorded off a video camera, in a 60-75 person venue, non-mic'ed amps/drums, and no surprise we were drinking. we started off more melodic in our writing, and our newer songs are getting more and more abrasive. almost like "i bet we can get people to walk out" type stuff. but we've got ~14 or 15 songs more or less done at this point, going to get into a studio (again.. grr last time was free and we never got our recording.. school project, long story) and get a few done that are properly mixed. its bit punk, a bit funk, and a bit sloppy drunk.

and im not sure which video you watched, but idiot savant was one of our first songs we did together(and recorded at our first show for that matter), actually me and the other guitarist had it 80% done before getting together with the other 2, one of the other clips, raindance, is a newer song of ours, more a punk feel i guess, or hope. while c.clay started off as a joke, and well, ended up being a hip hop song/jam kinda.

did some studio work this weekend, Rain Dance and Idiot Savant in the music player. Rain Dance was mixed by the guy(hence the slight overuse of vocal echo) and Idiot Savant was mixed by me.

also some new live ones.
