As much as I love Che as a revolutionary figure, that movie will probably get hardly anything right. The Motorcycle Diaries was great because it focused on Che's actual writings and told the story of how he ended up where he did...it didn't aggrandize his fight as I'm sure this will. A Cuban guy who comes into my work all the time fought in the revolution as part of the 27th Of July movement (he came here in the early or mid '60s) and he always tells me about how it was nothing like people here think it was. Then again, he also has a healthy distaste for Che and an even healthier distaste for Castro. Long story, but seeing as how he was there and lived it, I'm inclined to believe him.

And Benicio Del Toro? Seriously, what the fuck? They should at least get someone who looked like the man.

Someday, in the event that mankind actually figures out what it is that this world actually revoles around, thousands of people are going to be shocked and perplexed that it was not them. Sometimes this includes me.
