muffler
Does anyone have experience w/ any of the following mufflers:
Magnaflow Oval ES Oval DynoMax Super Turbo (leaning toward this) Flowmaster Im looking at maybe changing my muffler, and concidering doing a custom axle-back - using the thermal b-pipe still. (I know the last 2 arent straight-through) Since my friend and the neighborhood ass have received fix-its and CI's for "loud exhaust", I figured I might look into something that'll be quieter than the thermal canister. Any sound clips would be greatly appreciated. (Already heard whats on h-t) |

the magnaflow oval sounds pretty loud, almost like the thermal. just keep that letter that came with your thermal in the car. i think it says it conforms with the emissions and sound levels of any state

Yeah, I was looking for that....Its missing. I know it was in the sock drawer the last time I checked, but since then its dissapeared.
Ive heard that the magnaflow would be similar to any other canister, which is why Im leaning toward the super turbo (S shaped tube). Its pretty cheap and I know I could swich back to the thermal can later when the turbo is there (far from now...) I know I could put a 2nd huge-ass resonator in the bpipe and that would deepen the sound. But that's more work and more expensive...meaning I dont really wanna do that unless I have to. |

I've always hated the way those exhaust sound on honda's. All the ones i've ever heard sound realy high and like garbage.

hey i don't wanna get too off topic but has anybody heard about the new greddy TT series exhausts? I was thinking of picking one up in the spring time mainly because it looks amazing, and has (i think) 3 inch pipe for turbo'd cars. Not to mention it seems very similar to the evo series and my friend has one on his civic and it's very nice. Any thoughts?

If you're looking for 'quiet', this is what I run...
http://www.tenzoracingsports.com/per...uri/index.html I don't have any sound clips, but the Venturi has a nice, deep, mellow sound. Very sporty - no angry bumblebee sounds come out of this pipe... BTW, I have the axle-back (rear-section only). This are some old pics...
