Suspension/Wheel Help!
I am having a hard time deciding what spring/shock combination to go on my future ( ) 95 white GSR. Right now because I do not have a lot of money, I am going to get the Koni Reds and the Eibach Sportlines or H&R Sport. The car will be on some white 16" Rota rims. I am wondering if this set-up would be okay for a newbie. Will I have camber problems with the ~1.7" drop? Anybody have pics of the Sportlines/H&R's?
Thanks! PS - What is the ideal tire size and offset for 16s (given the drop)? |

You may have a little rubbage with Rotas, I dont think they come in a high enough offset to keep you from rubbing.. If it does rub it wont be bad, unless you doing some hard sharp corners, I have eibach prokit with 15 inch Rota C8s and they rub sometimes. Try to find a rim with a 43+ offset if you can.
As for the camber kit your car may or may not need one, some cars react differently then others. If you dont really want to buy a camber kit try it without and if its off very far then get one later.

Can you recommend me a lightweight 16" wheel with the correct offset? What tire size and offset should I use with the 16s?
Thanks! PS - Do you have a pic of your car? |
