1. Zapco
2. McIntosh 3. Orion 4. A/D/S 5. Xtant 6. Kicker The best bang for the buck is the old school Fosgates. Their recent stuff has been garbage. However, the new Power (looks like the old school) stuff seems like decent gear. STAY AWAY from anything with the polished heatsinks- you know what I'm talking about- trapezoid with the end caps on. Zapco makes the best amp out there, hands down. McIntosh is great stuff, however nowhere near worth the price. Orion makes some damn good gear- especially the HCCA stuff. The Cobalt series isn't bad for what you pay. The A/D/S powerplate amps are some of the cleanest you'll find without spending the cash for Zapco Competition or McIntosh. I haven't worked a lot with Xtant, but I've never heard them sound bad. The Kicker amps are great all around- value, output, sound quality, and craftmanship. I just wish they were a little more power efficient (mine are fused internally for 220 amps!), but it shouldn't be such a big deal now that their D class amps are out. |

If going SQ. Brax, Helix, human reign.. should be others you should consider.
If not Autotek, Zapco.. are some performers not too expensive. Others, Cadence, Phoenix gold.

Out of the 3, I will go with Kicker. I don't like any fosgate products. Crossfire is ok but I have always had great results with Kicker.
