Updating progress on the Integra
Well last time i posted up about having very high idle surge on my Integra. Well i finally fixed this after 6 months of worrying about it. Had a dude give me some instructions on how to check and it ended up being the FIT (fast idle thermostat). We first thought my IACV was bad but did a check and it was good. So now the car idles like a normal car should. Nothing has really changed with my tranny. Still got the horrible grind in third gear. I dont really wana go fix this. I wana go a GSR or Type R tranny for it but there a good bit of money. Also i scored another job 3 weeks ago so the Teg will still be around for a while. If yall rember i was scared cause i was going to have to sell it since i bought a Transam and that broke me out. But i just thought id give a headsup on whats going on with me since i am never around here anymore. Anyone has advice on doing some simple fixes on my Tranny would be the man. peace

Try replacing the tranny oil with GM synchromesh. If it doesnt fix it, you have no choice but pull the tranny out. While at it, inspect your clutch assembly.

my friend had this problem. then after 3 months the throw out bearing went, then 2 weeks later clutch went. he has now replaced everything and it cost way more then he wanted.
he was going to just get a B16 tranny. for some reason they are susposed to be bad ass.

Yea well clutch is new. Centerforce stage 2 i did right before putting the supercharger on. Im going to try to replace the oil here like tonight or tommrrow. It sucks my old tranny never did this until i got that new motor and tranny and it started grinding and the company who i bought the stuff from wouldnt do nothing about it since the warrenty was out on it. I really wana do a B16 in mine.
