Just dropped a D15b Vtec but its running like shit

I had an older non-vtec d15b and swapped it into a d15b vtec today but theres problems. It fitted into my 98 civic coupe but the harness that came with it I had to cut some wires and make them fit.

Anyone know why the d15b vtec O2 sensors are only 1 wire instead of 4 wires running to the stock headers? Because that's how it came when I bought the engine in HMOTORSONLINE....

Oh ya and my check engine light stays on and when I test drove it the check egine light was blinking....ANY IDEAS????

AS far as i know the old d15b motors were from 92-95 civic coupes which were different also non vtec harness with vtec engine will give you no vtec
